Container weights and payloadContainer weights
The maximum loading capacity is always shown on the container itself. It is shown on a steel plate that is located on one of the doors. On this plate you will find three different values:
Max Gross: This is the maximum weight of the container itself including cargo
Tare: This is the weight of the empty container
Max Payload: This is the maximum loading capacity

Container dimensions
Containers have many standard sizes expressed in ft (feet). There are also extra high (high cube containers 9ft6") and extra broad containers (pallet wide containers). Almost every container meets the demands stated in ISO. These ISO Containers are always provided with a stamped plate.
