History

The roots of Caru Prague are in the year 1995 when CATU Praque was founded. From there CARU was formed in the year 2000, when CATU was merged with two other long established companies from Rotterdam: Trade Craft (1984) and Lease Craft (1991).
These companies were specialized in container sales, renting and leasing. After the merger CARU grew to become a worldwide company in container sales, renting and leasing, gradually adding offices in Belgium, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and the USA. As from 2007 CARU became one of the 15 largest container leasing companies in the world.

CARU Prague has a high quality collective of workers with the many years of experience within the business. From Rotterdam and Prague to Boston, Moscow and Hong Kong, thousands of CARU Containers are traveling and underline our position as partner for companies looking for quality, reliability and service.
