X-ray Container

For our customer Oldelft we have just delivered the second 20ft X-ray container.

This container will be used in Zambia to help the local people fighting off the disease Tuberculosis (about 80% of the population in many Asian and African countries test positive in tuberculin tests). The container is divided into two sections: through the side entrance is a small doorway that leads to a small exam room with a digital x-ray machine. This room is completely insulated with special lead covered panels (incl. the sliding doors) to protect the medical staff from any radiation. Behind the containers doors is a small laboratory situated where blood specimens and skin tests also be examined to further diagnose TB.
